What is Trees for Troops?
Trees for Troops, a program of the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, provides free, farm-grown Christmas Trees to United States armed forces members in all branches of the military and their families, through donations, sponsorships, grants and the work of many volunteers.

Finding the Christmas Spirit through Warm Winter Activities
My parents love the beach, especially the beach when it isn’t summer. Sure it seems counterintuitive to go to the beach when it isn’t summer vacation, but many of our fall and winter holidays have been spent with toes in the sand. I learned early there are so many activities to make it feel like Christmas even when your holiday is hot.
As a Navy family, our duty stations have frequently placed us in areas of sunshine and sand at Christmas rather than those of snow.
